At ARC our mission statement is to provide person centred, performance-based, quality healthcare. As part of this commitment to the persons we serve, your ARC Team tracks the efficiency and effectiveness of our services as well as our patient satisfaction scores. These are collectively called outcome measures.
In 2021 ARC served over 8000 individual people with 55% of our persons served identifying as female and 45% of our persons served identifying as male. We also served over 700 children and adolescents from the ages of 6 months to 17 years old. FOTO is the name of our performance measurement system that helps us in collecting our data. Effectiveness means the change in functional score from your first visit to your final visit on discharge; the higher the change the more effective the treatment. Efficiency refers to the number of visits required on average to reach your goals. ARC's persons served attend, on average, for approximately 12 visits over the course of 6-8 weeks. The lower the score the more efficiently ARC assists you in achieving your goals. ARC prides itself on our high patient satisfaction scores which averaged 95% over the last three years.
Finally ARC leadership prides itself on transparency and our outcome measures are published annually by the end of June. The following are the summary of ARC's outcome measures per area of injury compared with previous years.
